Our Fall Festival this year will be Saturday October 15, 2016 from 11AM to 3PM. We will have horse rides and free food and drinks! You have to try the caramel apples! Come down and meet our horses and our wonderful volunteers!
Sometimes when we rescue these horses, they can be part of a cruelty seizure, possibly abandoned and a lot of times they are just unwanted. We try to find out what they know, as far as whether they can be ridden or possible behavior issues. Most times we can only guess. If possible, we will list everything we can, and as part of our adoption policy, we offer a 30-day trial period for any animal you might be interested in to make sure they are a good fit to your family.
Sharing for a fellow rescue organization. They think someone from the amish community bought him from a local auction, so if you know anyone and can help contact the number on the poster. They are offering a reward!
Trending: "Rethinking the box stall," an exploration of alternative stabling arrangements and the benefits they hold for horses, is the most popular article on equusmagazine.com right now.

Thank you so much to all the friends and volunteers who came out to join us for our Open House today. We had a wonderful day with tons of kids and giving away all our food! Looking forward to next time, and we hope you can join us again!
