Animals for Adoption

We offer shelter for horses and other animals too large to be housed by the S.P.C.A and also in times of need such as war, fires or floods.

Remember, as part of our adoption policy, we offer a 30-day trial period for any animal you might be interested in to make sure they are a good fit for your family.

Also, if your life changes and you are no longer able to care for an animal you have adopted, we will always take it back, no questions asked.

If you would like a tour of the facility and would like to meet and get to know our animals, please contact us.

Vist our Healing Horses page to see animals that are not yet ready for adoption and consider Sponsoring a Horse if you can’t adopt right now but would like to help!

Here are the animals we have in the barn now:

Sweet Pea

Age: 15-20
Breed: Appaloosa
Gender: Mare
Color: White with reddish brown spots
Size: Horse

Miss Sweet Pea has come back to us after being in a loving home for the last several years.  She is a sweetheart as her name implies, and although she is blind, she handles herself with calm and confidence.

Age: 3-5
Breed: Paint Quarter Horse
Gender: Mare
Color: White with Brown
Size: Average - Small Horse

Jessie has been a good girl so far, though she does seem to be unsure at times.  She really enjoyed the attention from her bath for the Open House!  She would do very well for someone who will be patient and encourage her to be confident in them and herself!

Reba McEntire

Age: 10-15
Breed: Appaloosa
Gender: Mare
Color: Red blanket appaloosa
Size: Small horse

Reba is friendly and curious!  She won't last long with that attitude!
