We offer shelter for horses and other animals too large to be housed by the S.P.C.A and also in times of need such as war, fires or floods.
Remember, as part of our adoption policy, we offer a 30-day trial period for any animal you might be interested in to make sure they are a good fit for your family.
Also, if your life changes and you are no longer able to care for an animal you have adopted, we will always take it back, no questions asked.
If you would like a tour of the facility and would like to meet and get to know our animals, please contact us.
Vist our Healing Horses page to see animals that are not yet ready for adoption and consider Sponsoring a Horse if you can’t adopt right now but would like to help!
Here are the animals we have in the barn now:
Color: Dark Bay
Katie is our sweet old lady. She can be unsure at times because of her background but does well with calm and affectionate attention. She would love to be your pet or pasture mate!
Color: Seal Bay
Size: Small horse
Fran is currently spending time with one of our volunteers who is working with her to see how well she will take a rider. She is coming along very well, learning her groundwork lessons quickly and taking a saddle pad and surcingle without hesitation, so next comes a saddle! She has a good attitude and often looks for attention with her pretty ears up. She is still available for adoption so if you like what you see come meet her!
Breed: Paint Quarter Horse
Color: White with Brown
Size: Average - Small Horse
Jessie has been a good girl so far, though she does seem to be unsure at times. She really enjoyed the attention from her bath for the Open House! She would do very well for someone who will be patient and encourage her to be confident in them and herself!
