Animals for Adoption

We offer shelter for horses and other animals too large to be housed by the S.P.C.A and also in times of need such as war, fires or floods.

Remember, as part of our adoption policy, we offer a 30-day trial period for any animal you might be interested in to make sure they are a good fit for your family.

Also, if your life changes and you are no longer able to care for an animal you have adopted, we will always take it back, no questions asked.

If you would like a tour of the facility and would like to meet and get to know our animals, please contact us.

Vist our Healing Horses page to see animals that are not yet ready for adoption and consider Sponsoring a Horse if you can’t adopt right now but would like to help!

Here are the animals we have in the barn now:

Previous 1 2

Age: Senior
Breed: Standardbred
Gender: Mare
Color: Dark Bay
Size: Horse

Katie is gentle but shy.  She gets along well with other horses and would make a great pasture mate.

Age: ~7
Breed: Arab/pony cross
Gender: Gelding
Color: Sorrel
Size: Small horse

Will has come back to us after an extended stay with a good friend of ours.  He got to learn lots of things like manners and how to handle a rider.  He is gorgeous and a sweety but can be feisty so would be best suited in a home with an experienced horseperson.

Age: 5-10
Breed: Grade
Gender: Mare
Color: Dark Bay
Size: Small horse

Fran has really benefitted from some routine handling and would make a nice little girl for someone to work with.
